South market is a great place for food, and views. As locals, we hit this place for brunch on weekends. Everything on the menu is very well done. The crab cake Benedict stands out! Our server this time was Patrick and he's amazing. Bottomless mimosa/champagne is always a good touch! If you sit outside, or near the windows, the views of the water and bridge are great!
We just celebrated my son’s graduation and we had 30 people. It was a chaotic scene; however, our servers Callan and Brooke were FANTASTIC. More than fantastic. They were kind, and patient and provided stellar service. This is technically a 10 star review because they each should get 5 stars. Thank you for a wonderful evening. And the food was amazing.
The service was fantastic, and the food was well done. I would have liked just a little bit more on the brunch plate for the price, but they stay on top of keeping the bottomless mimosas filled, and the atmosphere and service were 10/10. I would recommend going and checking it out if you're in the area.
My husband and I have came here 2x and it’s wonderful! They have wonderful food. My husband and I are gluten free and everything on the menu is/can be gluten free. Best place we have ever eaten with Gluten free. We wish there could be one back in home in Indiana! Atmosphere is wonderful. Our server was also wonderful and kind. 10/10.
Another wonderful lunch at Southmarket today of MANY! Never a disappointing appetizer, lunch, dinner, or dessert! Speaking of desserts....excellent selection and flavor!!! I just love the consistent flavor of the food, service, and atmosphere altogether! Also Jeff is a wonderful server!!!
The food was amazing. It was hot. It was fresh. It was well seasoned to the point. I didn’t have to put any season on my food and let me not forget the mimosas was on point I enjoyed the atmosphere. Everything about this restaurant was on point our server, which is we never knew who it was but Maria, the general manager Came over to assist us she was so professional and very knowledgeable of the menu. I hope the next time me and my husband goes back to this restaurant. Maria is our server so sweet hands down she is the best
Since the owner is celiac, just about everything can be made gluten free! I was able to eat the fried seafood basket. It was good, the hushpuppies were a little too done for my taste but it was the first one I'd eaten in a long time. Will definitely be back to try more.
